"It’s what you do to the people you say you love, that’s what matters. It’s the only thing that counts.”

"Unless it's mad, passionate, extraordinary love, it's a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life & love shouldn't be one of them."

Whoever said that was right, completely right. Today was our five month, sure feels like longer, maybe because it really was in our hearts. A year ago on October 17th a boy jumped a poor helpless girl's precious green VW bug in the Hamilton parking lot, space 438. That boy was Trey and that girl was me. That started our night. He brought me there, parked in my old spot, turned up our song, "I Run to You" and handed me a rose for that day that started it all and a second one for our first dance at prom because driving to the Wrigley Mansion and getting me home by 10 was impossible. It brought me to tears as we stood under the stars where time almost stopped. We went to dinner, same place we went on our first date. Ironically we got the same waitress. I received another rose. We left and drove to the intersection, Appleby & Arizona. Our place. The sound of the rocks and dirt under his truck sounded so perfect. We drove till the road ended and he turned off the headlights and we danced to our real song, "I'll Be Seeing You," just like our first date. The stars, the chill, his arms, the next rose. We drove down Hunt Highway like we had once before blasting, "You Belong with Me," and singing passionately badly to each other and I was so surprised he remembered as he played it from his special CD. The last surprise place was where on June 10th, Trey and I became reality. :) I watched our shadows dance on the wall as we kissed and he handed me another rose (the 5th). My camera did not allow me to capture that, but it will remain photographed in my mind forever. We headed home and stopped in front of my house and he pulled out the final rose and said this was for the rest of eternity. Tonight was amazing, incredible, heart stopping, butterfly causing, beautiful. I love you Edward John, my world and my heart, thank you for everything.
